1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or utilizing the website located at gridsvaultpilt.motorcycles ("Service", "Site"), you agree to be bound unconditionally by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any portion of these provisions, you must immediately terminate access to our rail navigation and dispatch data.
2. Nature of the Railway Information Service
Gridsvaultpilt provides an independent technical data portal, editorial route dossiers, railway elevation matrices, and station interchange blueprints for European train travel. Gridsvaultpilt is not a licensed railway undertaking (RU) or direct carrier. We do not operate locomotives or passenger rolling stock directly. All ticket bookings, seat reservations, and carriage contracts executed through third-party operator links (e.g. SBB, SNCF, DB, ÖBB, Trenitalia, Eurostar) are governed exclusively by the terms and conditions of the respective carrier.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
All proprietary site content—including route elevation charts, SVG station schematics, technical data grid designs, logos, software source code, and editorial route dossiers—is the exclusive intellectual property of Gridsvaultpilt Rail Logistics BV or its licensed contributors. Users are granted a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access information for personal, non-commercial travel planning.
4. User Conduct & Acceptable Use Restrictions
When utilizing our platform, you agree not to:
- Deploy automated scrapers, bots, crawlers, or extraction algorithms to harvest routing matrices or station datasets without express written authorization.
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, security barriers, or API firewalls protecting our server clusters.
- Transmit false dispatch notices, deceptive customer support tickets, or malicious scripts.
5. Timetable Accuracy & Limitation of Liability
While Gridsvaultpilt takes exhaustive technical measures to verify European timetable revisions, platform numbers, engineering closures, and mountain rail schedules, railway operations are subject to real-time industrial action, extreme weather disruptions, and operational changes. Gridsvaultpilt shall not be liable for missed connections, hotel expenses, or indirect damages resulting from reliance on displayed schedules.
6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of Switzerland, excluding conflict-of-law principles. Any legal disputes arising in connection with this Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Zürich, Switzerland.
